Royal Challengers Bangalore is the official name of the club, and despite no change since 2008, teams frequently change their name to sell. A change in the future might be the inclusion of Bengaluru (rather than Bangalore) to associate the city with its official name, although the royal and challenging spirit of the team is retained.
