Method 1 – Updating the bank account

If the error still exists, move to next method.Method 2 – Cleaning of cache files in browser

For this, follow the below steps to clear the cache files :
In Google chrome :
Type “chrome://settings/clearBrowserData” in search bar.
Tap enter to execute it.
Check the box mentioning the cache files and images given in the box.
Clear the selected cache data.
For Firefox :
Open firefox browser and type “about:preferences#privacy” in address bar.
Run the address.
Remove the recent history from the screen.
Check the cache which you want to delete from the given list.
Now clear the whole tab.
For internet explorer :
Choose temporary files and website files.
Click delete to delete the complete data.
Method 3 – Connecting again to bank account
Sometimes due to lack of connection between QuickBooks and bank account due to wrong login details or multi-factor authentication, QuickBooks error 9999 occurs.
First you have to disconnect and then reconnect the QuickBooks to bank :
Disconnecting bank account :
Choose banking mentioned on the left side.
Choose edit icon from the banking screen to disconnect the connection.
Now save the changes you have made.
Enter close button.
Reconnecting bank account :
Select banking from the left side of the panel.
Mention your login details.
Click continue.
Go through all the security verification correctly.
Tap on securely connect button.
Tap your account name from the account type.
Choose from two i.e., credit card account / bank account.
Now mention the login details and connect again.
Method 4 – Sign in to bank account using web browser
Follow the below steps to login to your bank using web browser :
Open the site of your respective bank in your web browser.
Sign-in to your account using admin credentials.
Mention the verification OTP you have received in your mobile number connected to the bank.
Choose Updates bank feed in QuickBooks online when you are signed in your account.
Method 5 – Importing bank transaction in QuickBooks online manually

Open QuickBooks online software in the banking section.
Choose banking mentioned in the QuickBooks Online page.
