Has anyone here tried online book editing services and actually seen a significant improvement in their manuscript? With so many platforms offering everything from proofreading to developmental editing, it’s hard to know which ones are genuinely effective. Are online editors as reliable as traditional, in-person editors, or is there a risk of inconsistent quality? I’m curious to hear experiences good or bad from writers who trusted their book to an online editor.
