Jaguar XF transmission whine – anyone know where to find reliable info?
I’ve got a 2015 XF that’s developed a faint whining noise from the gearbox when cruising at highway speeds, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s a common issue or something serious before I take it to a shop. I’ve been looking online for someone who specializes in Jaguar transmissions, and a forum post mentioned that if you Go Here you can find details about a Sharjah workshop that knows these ZF boxes, but I haven’t seen any real customer reviews. Has anyone actually used them or know a reliable place in Sharjah that won’t charge an arm and a leg just to diagnose the noise? I’d rather not drive all the way there only to find out they’re just a middleman. Any advice from fellow Jag owners would be awesome.
